Every wondered where all the ARC money goes?

OK, the ARC (Australian Research Council) is often canned by boorish newspaper men who believe that they are in touch with the needs of the people (until they get a brain tumor and realise that they also need people who are brighter than them!). Here is an interesting win from a small donation from the ARC.

It’s been a big few weeks for Ori Allon, the University of NSW student behind the advanced text search algorithm that Google has secured the rights to develop.
