G20 Empty Show art space Monday 13th November

On Monday 13th November from 5pm, an Empty show will take place at a space in the vicinity of Melbourne.

One of the ideas behind an “empty” show is to to reclaim an otherwise
forbidden area, to transform an otherwise empty space into a public space.

All are welcome to contribute visual or performance art, film projections,
photographs, graf, puppets, guerilla gardening, live music or any type of
work for public exhibition.

Some people will be exhibiting work related to the themes of reclaiming
public space and critical reflections on activist movements and subcultures.
But artists are encouraged to have autonomy and exhibit anything they like.

It is not recommended that precious work be exhibited. Be prepared to lose
your work as there’s a chance the space may be busted at an early stage in
the evening.

If you would like to contribute, email info4artists@yahoo.com
If you know someone who might like to contribute, pass this email on.
This is not a sale.

This is the Monday prior to the G20 mobilisation, taking place in Melbourne
on Saturday 18th and Sunday 19th November. On Tuesday 14th and Wednesday
15th November, a convergence is taking place at a separate squatted space.
This convergence will include workshops on issues such as militarism and
critiques of the mainstream politics of foreign aid. If you want to know
