Another leading centre for the digital humanities in the UK is the Humanities Advanced Technology and Information Institute (HATII) at the University of Glasgow. Their research is close to the information and library sciences with an emphasis on preservation (link)
HATII has a vibrant research culture with a growing number of doctoral and masters students, exploring a range of topics in the archival and information sciences. HATII places great emphasis on the relationship of theory and practice in the information society drawing on a range of disciplinary perspectives and experience from different parts of the globe. The institute has an international reputation for research in digital curation and preservation, evaluation and enhancement of information seeking behaviour, conceptualizing the transforming effect of the digital environment, and in measuring its impact. There is regular interaction among core staff, researchers and postgraduate students, a regular flow of visiting fellows and guest lecturers and two weekly research seminars.
