Turbulence is a project of New Radio and Performing Arts, Inc. (NRPA), a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) organization that has as its core mission the commissioning of networked art by emerging and established artists. Since 1996 we have commissioned, exhibited and archived over 90 original works for Turbulence, and helped launch the careers of numerous artists. Turbulence has proven an invaluable resource for quality new media projects and provided vital material for teaching and new media initiatives in universities, galleries, festivals, conferences, and museum exhibits worldwide.
